Deathtrap
by Ira Levin
Two parts thriller, one part devilishly clever
comedy, this popular play deals with the devious machinations of a writer of
thrillers whose recent offerings have been flops and who is prepared to go
to any length to improve his fortunes. Twists, turns and sudden shocks are
in such abundance that the audience is held spellbound until the very last
moment.

Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol
by Tom Mula
* A Best Bet of the Baltimore Sun
"… Nothing less than an anthem to human nature, to
imagination, and to the wonder of a compelling story told by a wondrous
storyteller…among the best evenings of the theatrical year…As the tale slips
down the throat like a hot chocolate, it also reveals new truths about the
human condition…in Mula's warm and inviting hands, Marley becomes a tortured
but poignant and ultimately redeemed soul who personally stage-manages
Scrooge's reformation and finds his own redemption therein…an inspired and
moving story that makes all that old stuff about ghosts and graves seem both
immediate and revelatory…a splendid and invigorating evening!" —Chicago
Tribune. "…[Blends] a Dickens sensibility with a taste for fairy tales and
contemporary wit…thoroughly charming—a holiday treat…" —Herald (Chicago).
"…Superbly written, marvelously performed…inspired writing…funny, moving,
and hypnotic throughout…" —Chicago Sun-Times. "Delectably zany…inspired
theatre…gives the audience cause to ache, and to laugh, and in the end, to
exalt." —Citybeat. "Of all the holiday shows dotting the theatrical
landscape, none shines brighter than JACOB MARLEY'S CHRISTMAS CAROL." —The
Life. "…Wondrous…an instant classic…" —Chicago

GODSPELL
Godspell was conceived and originally directed by
John Michael
Tebelak, and offers music and New Lyrics by
Stephen Schwartz.
One of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway
successes of all time, Godspell is based primarily on the
Gospel According to St. Matthew. Featuring a sparkling, seminal score by
Stephen Schwartz, Godspell boasts a string of recognizable
songs, led by the international hit, "Day By Day."
As the cast of actor/clowns makes it way through
"Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," "Save The People," "Learn Your Lessons
Well,"
"Bless The Lord,""All
For The Best," "All Good Gifts," "Turn Back, O Man" and "By My Side," we, as
audience members get to see the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and
hearteningly to life.
The last twenty minutes, or so, of the show
touchingly presents the story of Jesus' last moments beginning with the Last
Supper. The main story of Godspell is
portrayed in the show's subtext--in the way the players interact with their
leader, coming together to create a loving community.

Vanities
by Jack Heifner
A bittersweet comedy that is an astute, snapshot sharp chronicle of the
lives of three Texas girls. In 1963, Joanne, Kathy and Mary are aggressively
vivacious cheerleaders. Five years later in their college sorority house,
they are confronting their futures with nervous jauntiness. In 1974, they
reunite briefly in New York. Their lives have diverged their friendship,
which once thrived on assumption as well coordinated as sweater sets, is
strained and ambiguous. Old time banter rings false. Their attempts at
honest conversation only show they can no longer afford to have very much in
common.
"Unnervingly funny. . . . Fast moving, sneakily stinging dialogue."
Newsweek
"Uncommonly attractive." New York Magazine
