The Village's Interactive Murder Mysteries, GET Murdered, can work in any space or location.  You provide the food (not necessarily required for all shows) and the audience and we will provide a show that will be sure to entertain and delight. Your guests will play whatever role they are comfortable with.  However, our actors are excellent at getting even the most shy involved.  We can also adjust out shows to suit whatever crowd you have.  (Of course, the innuendo is much more prevalent and fun with "adult only" crowds) E-mail Jason at info@gettheatre.org for information or to set up a meeting.

Grant Us Some Leeway - A GET Theatre Classic! The show that started it all... Join us at we meet two officers from each side of the war at a negotiating meeting.  At the same time the citizens of Gettysburg (Your Guests) have gathered for their own town meeting. Hilarity ensues as mistaken identities, plot twists, and sabers come in to play.  The audience decides the fate, and the surprise ending is always a treat. Set on July 4th, the day after the war, this a a fun civil war era mystery!

Don't Be Cruel - The Elvis interactive murder mystery.  Who killed the King?  That is the question everyone wants answered.  Your guests are sweepstakes winners from "A Night With the King" raffle, and as the lucky recipients they are entitled to a dinner and private concert with the king before heading off to his concert, where they will also receive backstage passes.  Things go horribly wrong and his team are forced to improvise so they do not disappoint your guests, and the thousands that are waiting!  Perfect for those guests who love to Karaoke, and relive the 70's!

Ghost Hunts Are Deadly- You have invited your guests for a weekend (or night) of Spooks and Specters and we are providing you with an internationally know Paranormal Investigator and her young Medium protégé. However, things start going awry when a team of Paranormal Investigators show up to do an investigation unannounced.  Egos, spirits, and comedy clash and when one meets their demise, only the haunted can help solve this mystery. 

The Booty of Gettysburg (coming April 2008)- It is a fact that at one point in history, Gettysburg was home to Pirates.  Legend states that while inhabited the Pirates hid their treasure in Gettysburg, now one is back and he is on a mission.  His crew has abandoned him and in a last ditch effort he has assembled a new crew but is seeking even more.  Your guests are his next potential crew mates and pirates in training.  And so begins a night that will be filled with intrigue, mystery, murder and a WHOLE LOT OF MAYHEM!

Murder on Location- It seems that the cast and crew of the new hit series One Life has set out to do a live remote for their next episode.  Bus troubles abandon them at your location. Now they must scramble to pull off this "live" segment or all their livelihoods will be in jeopardy.  Your guests are casual dinner guests who are now caught in the middle and since the rest of the actors have no way of getting back to this location, fresh talent must be found to fill in the gaps.  Of course, what is a murder mystery without the murder?

I Wuld Die For U! (coming May 2008)- Relive the 80's with this murder mystery set in a retro prom.  We will transform your location into an 80's reunion prom, complete with DJ and a disco ball!  Your guest will each play a role- from the child of a student, to the Principal of the school.  A complete murder mystery that is extremely interactive (dancing, dinner, and reminiscing.)  80's attire is strongly suggested though not required.

*The "Don't Be Cruel - an Elvis Interactive Murder Mystery" was Unbelievably Entertaining! We (the Cashtown Inn) offered our guests the chance to participate in the play as part of a package weekend. We could not have asked for a better time! The dialogue immediately drew you in and the result was a hilariously fun-filled evening for all! The ability of the Village Theatre Group to interact with the audience and improvise to "go with the group" was just amazing! We can not wait to do this again!
